Hello Vance Parents,

We just wanted to provide an update for those of you that had issues with your Cherrydale Orders........

If you ordered anything that was considered "dry goods" Cherrydale will direct ship those products.  Anything that was frozen we have to wait until there is another school that places an order so that we can piggy back the shipment.
At this current time it looks like it will be Oct 23rd when this will happen, however that maybe affected by the weather.  Enough with the hurricanes already!!!!.
Chances are it will most likely be Nov, 1st.

We will keep you updated with any updates.

If you are planning on taking the family to the 2018 NC State Fair, what better way to support our school than ordering  the tickets online.   Vance Elementary will get a portion of the tickets sold when entering our unique school Code.

 Vance Panthers - Fall movie night will still take place just a week later.

Come join us for an evening of fun on the field behind the school.  The event kicks off at 6pm
This year's movie is "National Treasure" 

Movie night is a great time to meet other parents and enjoy a movie with your kids!  Food and drinks will be available for purchase, so bring a blanket, chairs and relax.

My name is Jennifer Greene and I am the President of the Vance PTA this year. I have two boys, a 5th grader, Hayden and a 2nd grader, Connor here at Vance. We are very proud Vance Panthers! 
The Vance PTA has been working hard preparing for events to raise money for our wonderful school. We are a dedicated group that love our school and want to continue the great work of supporting our Teachers and Students.

I would like to introduce the rest of the PTA Board.
Angela Dineen will serve as our Vice President
Christy Pruden and Kassey Watson will serve as our Co-Treasurers
Tallie Griffith will serve as our Secretary
Anna Plowman will serve as our Website Coordinator
Lacy Park and Allison Abell well serve as our Hospitality Co-Chairs
Jennifer Deatherage will serve as our Membership Coordinator
Aprille Loflin will serve as our Communication/Member Hub Officer 

We are always looking for Volunteers to help on any committee and all our events, as we cannot do it alone. We need your help!! Please feel free to reach out to me if you want to sign up to join in on the fun helping out this year, or if you have any questions. My email is jenecu34@yahoo.com.
 
We will be sending information to you, our parents/guardians, in several ways. You will find information in your child's Tuesday Folders, our Website, our Facebook page and messages via text, phone and email prior to each event.
